Website, Waitlist, and Support
DEC WORLDWIDE (doing business as Champlicity) operates zarinafiles.com and publishes the Zarina Files series. If you join the waitlist, send playtest feedback, or email us, we collect the information you submit (typically email, optional name or note, playtest answers, and any screenshots you attach) so we can respond, improve the books, and send launch updates.
We do not sell your personal information. Waitlist and playtest forms mail to zarina@zarinafiles.com. Support uses help@zarinafiles.com.
Solution seal keys are checked to unlock content for owners of a copy. We do not use seal keys for marketing.
Zarina Left a List (Mobile Application)
The mobile application Zarina Left a List is designed with privacy and fair puzzle play in mind:
- Game Progress: Daily case state, streak counters, solve times, and archive progress are stored locally on your device via local storage and are never uploaded to our servers.
- No Account Required: You do not need to create an account, log in, or provide personal contact details to play the game.
- Third-Party Advertising: The app integrates Google AdMob (Google Mobile Ads SDK) to serve banner advertisements and optional rewarded video advertisements for unlocking cold case archives. Google AdMob may collect and process pseudonymous identifiers (such as Android Advertising ID or iOS IDFA), IP address, and app diagnostic logs to deliver non-personalized or personalized ads and detect fraud in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy.
- Opt-Out and Controls: You can manage or reset your advertising identifier and personalized advertising preferences at any time through your device system settings (Settings > Google > Ads on Android, or Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking on iOS).
